Three weeks in Germany (May 4th – May 21st) was far more than a training journey. It became a new lens through which I could better understand international standards, operational excellence, and what truly creates competitiveness in the global market.

Through the “Partnering in Business with Germany” program — implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE) in cooperation with VCCI — my biggest goal was to learn how businesses can strengthen management capabilities and build sustainable cross-border partnerships.

What I gained from this experience honestly exceeded my expectations.

The Most Valuable Part: Real Business Exposure

From a business development perspective, what impressed me most was how practical and experience-driven the program was.

The learning wasn’t limited to academic theories or classroom discussions. Instead, it focused directly on how European companies actually operate — from strict technical standards and optimized workflows to market-entry strategies and the way long-term partnerships are built and maintained.

The combination of expert-led sessions, B2B networking activities, and direct participation in exhibitions created an environment where learning and real-world application happened side by side. Everything felt highly professional, practical, and immediately relevant.

System Thinking — The Foundation of Trust

One of the biggest lessons I brought home was not only management knowledge, but a much clearer understanding of how strong businesses operate efficiently and grow sustainably.

What stood out most in the working style of international partners was their strong system-thinking mindset:

  • Data-driven decision-making: every decision is supported by real data and clear analysis.
  • Clear standards: no ambiguity in quality expectations or performance measurements.
  • High consistency: alignment between strategy, commitment, and execution.

This level of consistency creates trust — and trust is ultimately the foundation of every long-term partnership in the global market.

For me personally, this became a very valuable mindset shift and an important reference point for applying more international thinking into our market expansion strategies at CNCTech.

Feeling Truly “Expanded”

I’m sincerely grateful to the leadership team at CNCTech for giving me the opportunity to join this meaningful journey.

What the company invests in is not simply overseas training programs. It is a long-term investment in people — creating opportunities for employees to directly experience world-class business environments, global standards, and international ways of thinking.

Although the journey itself was only three weeks long, the impact feels much deeper.

The biggest thing I brought back with me is the feeling of being “expanded” — expanding my perspective, expanding my strategic thinking, and gaining a clearer vision for the road ahead.

The Germany experience may have ended, but the journey of bringing international standards into real work at CNCTech is only just beginning.

Tracy
