"The journey into the semiconductor industry doesn't begin with giant leaps—it begins by mastering the smallest details."
This message set the tone for CNCTech's recent seminar, "Machining Intelligence: From Precision Metal to Semiconductor Core"

The seminar opened with a keynote presentation by Dr. Mai Anh Tuan, CEO of CNC Nexora, who shared a comprehensive overview of the global semiconductor industry—from emerging technology trends and the semiconductor value chain to the opportunities available for Vietnamese manufacturers. His presentation helped the CNCTech team gain a deeper understanding of one of the world's most strategic and rapidly growing industries while outlining the Group's long-term vision for participating in the global semiconductor equipment supply chain.

As part of this vision, CNC Nexora will serve as CNCTech's dedicated R&D center, leading technology research, engineering capability development, and ecosystem collaboration. Leveraging nearly two decades of experience in precision machining, tooling, mold manufacturing, and integrated manufacturing solutions, CNCTech aims to gradually become a trusted manufacturing partner for the world's leading semiconductor equipment companies.
The seminar also featured valuable insights from Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, CEO of CNCTech Group; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Chairman of CNCTech Group; Mr. Dang Thanh Nhan, CEO of SMCTech; Dr. Mai Anh Tuan; Mr. Duong Dinh Hiep, Senior R&D Engineer at ASM International; and a semiconductor expert from Japan joining online.

Each speaker contributed a unique perspective. Drawing on his leadership in building CNCTech's manufacturing ecosystem, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, who began his career as a mechanical engineer, shared how continuous learning and exposure to the semiconductor industry have reinforced his belief that this field represents a strategic opportunity for CNCTech's future growth. Mr. Dang Thanh Nhan also highlighted valuable experience gained through supplying machine frames and precision mechanical structures for semiconductor equipment, providing practical insights into the industry's stringent manufacturing requirements.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mai Anh Tuan shared his extensive experience in semiconductor research, education, and industrial projects, while Mr. Duong Dinh Hiep offered practical perspectives from his work at ASM International, one of the world's leading semiconductor equipment manufacturers. Together with the Japanese guest speaker, they provided a comprehensive view of the technologies, standards, and development roadmap required for Vietnamese manufacturers to enter this highly specialized industry.
The discussions made it clear that semiconductor manufacturing is among the world's most demanding industries. Manufacturers are expected to achieve tolerances as tight as 1–3 microns, while maintaining near-zero-defect production through rigorous quality control from the earliest manufacturing stages. Strict requirements for surface finish, cleanliness, vacuum compatibility, full traceability, and high-grade cleanroom environments are all essential prerequisites for becoming a qualified supplier to leading semiconductor equipment manufacturers.

One message strongly resonated throughout the seminar: "Do Right at the Beginning." In the semiconductor industry, quality cannot be inspected into a product at the end—it must be built into every process from the very first operation. Every micron matters, every process counts, and every detail contributes to the final product's reliability.
These challenges also represent the technological capabilities that CNCTech is committed to developing in the years ahead.
The road forward will undoubtedly be challenging. However, like the world's leading semiconductor companies, CNCTech believes sustainable success comes from taking one step at a time—investing continuously in people, technology, quality management systems, and R&D capabilities to gradually meet the industry's highest standards.
CNCTech firmly believes that with persistence, continuous innovation, and long-term commitment, Vietnamese manufacturers can become an important part of the global semiconductor supply chain, contributing to the advancement of Vietnam's manufacturing industry on the global technology stage.

The journey has already begun. Every seminar, every lesson learned, and every project completed lays another foundation stone toward that long-term vision.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Dr. Mai Anh Tuan, Dr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Mr. Dang Thanh Nhan, Mr. Duong Dinh Hiep, our distinguished guest speaker from Japan, and everyone who participated in this seminar. Your expertise, insights, and engaging discussions have inspired our team and further strengthened CNCTech's commitment to advancing toward the global semiconductor supply chain.
