BAC NINH — Vietnam has become an increasingly important part of the tech supply chain, seeing the wave of suppliers to Samsung and Apple relocating from China in recent years because of rising costs, trade war with the US, and supply chain disruptions due to COVID-19. Capturing this rising trend of manufacturing shifts, particularly in consumer electronics, CNCTech opened its yet largest factory for high precision molding in Bac Ninh in January, 2021.
The factory was built and operated by an European company from 2014 to 2020, producing high-performance components for sport shoes, wireless neckband earphones, and e-cigarettes. It was then transferred to CNCTech at the end of 2020 as the European corporation restructured its business in the Asia Pacific.
CNCTech Bac Ninh runs nearly 50 sets of high-precision molding equipment from 75 to 315 metric ton, including horizontal, vertical, and double-injection presses. The facility also features state-of-the-art centralized material handling system that can produce consistent-quality parts with less energy consumption and operation cost.

To offer customers with an one-stop-shop solution, CNCTech has planned to build a coating shop connects to the current molding lines. Comments on this next development of the factory, Mr. CJ Ko, CNCTech Bac Ninh’s CEO said: “As a custom manufacturer, we always want to provide customers with better value-added-services. Adding surface finishing to our in-house capabilities will help customers cutting down management cost, while shortening time to market. I believe the top coating lines will put CNCTech Bac Ninh among the rank of top-tier molders in Vietnam.”
